頭陀再世將軍後身 徐三庚

徐三庚刻於上海，時年四十七歲。「頭陀」，又稱頭陀行，為苦行之一。意即捨棄對衣、食、住等貪著，以修鍊身心。
印文八字，章法疏密有致，篆勢善於變化，入鋒處有行楷筆意，出鋒處多為懸針；運刀如筆，慣用切刀而印風宛通。因為切刀劃短易刻，風格清新，峭麗宛轉，此印即是最好的例子。
徐三庚字辛穀，號袖海、金罍、井罍等。清代（1644～1911）篆刻家、書法家。浙江上虞人。曾游寓各地，以刻印維生。初學陳鴻壽、趙之琛，中年後自成章法，布字疏密多變，名重當時。
