禪院額字釋迦寶殿 無準師範

此額字為無準師範禪師書贈日本聖一國師。無準禪師小字書風略有米芾筆意,唯不如米芾用筆之精到。此卷僅書「釋迦寶殿」(供奉釋迦牟尼佛的殿堂)四字,筆筆送到而架構端正,以氣勢而論,比之米芾所書大字,未必稍遜,實為無準禪師大字之佳作。一九五二年指定為日本重要文化財。
 無準師範為南宋(1127~1279)重要禪僧,弟子廣及日本禪林,入宋僧聖一國師為其嗣法弟子。無準雖未赴日,然其法語、尺牘、額字等諸多墨跡皆傳入日本。嘉熙三年(1239),宋理宗曾賜號「佛鑑禪師」,淳祐元年(1241)加賜「圓照」法號。
