禪院額字方丈 張即之
日本
此為日本聖一國師由中國返回日本後，其師無準師範由中國寄予。後此幅多見摹刻複製，為日人最熟悉的張即之書作，如京都禪宗寺院所懸「方丈」匾額，即是模刻東福寺所藏墨跡。一九七四年指定為日本重要文化財。
宋代（960～1279）中日禪僧頻繁交流，中國書風往往由此傳入日本。張即之在中國書名甚盛，又多有寫經作品，故禪僧書法多受其影響。其大楷樸實鋒勁，有天然無藻飾的宏大氣象。張氏的書法成就，影響日本更鉅，日本寺院之題匾，往往有追此風格者。
張即之字溫夫，號樗寮，南宋（1127～1279）書法家。善作擘窠大字，晚年學佛，亦藉由書法的揮灑而體悟禪法。
