Five-Character Quatrain

五言絕句 陳洪綬

此書為陳洪綬自作詠梅花詩。此幅行草書作雖只有兩行，但在章法上亦顯示出獨具的匠心。右行結體較長，字形較消瘦；左行結體較短，字形稍肥，但都合乎法度，字字別具風姿。落款「洪綬」兩字，有意寫小並且偏上，使得主次分明、上下呼應、對比鮮明。用筆尤其有墨韻濃枯、運筆輕重等變化，呈現大小錯落、欹正相生的韻致，令人耳目一新。
陳洪綬字章侯，號老蓮、悔遲、雲門僧。明（1368～1644）末清（1644～1911）初畫家。諸暨（今浙江諸暨）人。擅長人物、山水、花鳥等題材，尤善人物畫，獨特風格對後世影響極大。雖未以書法名世，但其書法之藝術成就亦甚為人所稱道。
