薩拉哈是九世紀印度大乘佛教密宗的大成就者。此像棱眉，長鬚，面部表情安詳，似一慈祥長者。結高髮髻，環形耳飾垂肩，戴項鍊、瓔珞、釧鐲等飾品，下繫裙。兩眼注視前方，雙手舉於身前，趺坐於鋪有獸皮的方形台座上，似乎正在講經說法。
整體造像通體鎏金，比例勻稱，做工精細，形象生動，具有強烈的寫實風格，是十八世紀西藏金銅造像的上乘之作。
