此天王像通體金黃，怒目圓睜，右手原持寶傘已佚失，左手握吐寶獸，坐於臥獅上。頭戴寶冠，珍寶瓔珞嚴身，尤其在寶冠、鎧甲與吐寶獸吐出的成串珍寶上，多處鑲嵌大綠松石與紅寶石，顯得色彩豔麗華貴，表現傳統西藏金銅造像的特有做法。
天王臉部表情生動，與漢地造像風格相近，身上穿的鎖子甲、戰靴亦與明代（1368～1644）以來漢地武士的形象相同。細部精雕細刻，做工精美，為十五世紀西藏金銅造像的精品之一。
