譯名為Harry Hemersley St. George。生於一八四五年，卒於一八九七年。十九世紀英國軍人。善繪風景、建築、人物，主要以油畫及水彩為媒材，作風寫實。曾於英國統治錫蘭（今斯里蘭卡）時期（1796～1948），駐守該國多年；期間完成寫生多幅，作品現藏英國倫敦大英博物館，其中十幅描繪佛教題材，包括阿努拉德普勒古城（Anuradhapura）佛教遺蹟、古城中的大塔（Mahathupa）及大寺（Mahavihara）大菩提樹；坎底（Kandy）佛牙寺（Sri Dalada Maligawa Temple）；另有僧人與佛寺供奉之立佛、坐佛、臥佛等像。
