雷卑石
雕塑家
生卒年不詳。南朝齊（479～502）雕塑家。據唐顯慶四年（659）僧道世《法苑珠林》記載，南朝齊永明七年（489），有瑞石浮海入境，石質堅固光彩鮮潤。時值齊武帝（482～493在位）初建禪靈寺，重閣七層，美妙莊嚴；朝士倡議以此瑞石雕造佛像，遂命石匠雷卑石等，造釋迦牟尼佛坐像，鐫琢工巧壯偉。
