雲南省大理市崇聖寺三塔之千尋塔發現
一九七八年雲南省大理市崇聖寺三塔之千尋塔發現。微型供養塔，又稱香塔。據《大唐西域記》卷九記載，印度自古盛行以香粉末拌水為泥，作成小塔，其內安置經文供養禮拜，漸積成小香塔無數，即可造大窣堵波集中奉置。
圖左側為七重密檐方塔，通高12.8公分。塔身銀製鎏金，輪廓為雲南塔特有的凸肚形，須彌座及四門之佛像為銅質。塔身中空，各層四面開券門，內藏舍利數粒。塔剎由蓮台剎座、寶珠、寶蓋、仰蓮、葫蘆寶頂組成。
圖右塔的形制與左側相仿，唯四門無佛像。圖中央六層塔為銀身銅座，以波浪狀支腳相撐，通高12公分，塔身呈凸肚形，亦為典型的雲南塔。
