Ryoginan Temple Abbot’s Quarters - Portico
龍吟庵方丈室
日本京都東山
位於日本京都市東山區本町龍吟庵，為現存最古的客堂。根據足利義滿將軍親筆題記的匾額，推測創建於日本南北朝嘉慶元年（1387）。龍吟庵為東福寺的塔頭之一，乃鎌倉時代（1185～1333）東福寺第三代住持，同時也是南禪寺開山祖師大明國師無關普門的墓塔。一九六三年指定為日本國寶。
該建築為單檐歇山頂，頂鋪柿板，面闊八間，16.5公尺，進深六間，12.4公尺，正面深一間為寬敞的走廊。當心間採左右對開兩折式格扇門，其餘各間為細格弔窗，可向上拉起；側面闢板門，為採光良好，加設貼上白紙的格扇拉門。內部分成六間，前後各三室。龍吟庵方丈室的布局異於後來的方丈室，是了解應仁之亂（1467～1477）以前方丈室結構的重要實物資料。
