室生寺十二神將像

位於日本奈良縣宇陀市室生區室生寺金堂須彌壇五尊主要佛菩薩像前方，呈橫排並列，製於十三世紀，現為日本重要文化財。其來源不詳，有說是從室生村砥取之小堂遷移而來。
各像頭部、軀幹由檜木整材雕出，再接合前後細部，像內刳空。眼瞳鑲嵌玉石，外表白底施加彩色，再描繪碎金紋樣，但已明顯剝落，岩座均為後來補上。
各神將頭上均置有十二支，即十二生肖之一的動物形象，亦被作為晝夜十二時、四季十二月之守護神，或謂象徵藥師佛的十二大願。頭髮或作火焰狀向上揚起，或戴風帽，或結髮，外穿鎧甲，著護臂、脛套或長靴，鎧甲下垂落裙襬，帛帶自腰部飄於體側，岔開雙足立於岩台上，作武士裝扮。或昂首握拳，或舉手高呼，或作拄杖姿態，或隻手罩在額上似作遠眺狀，或側臉皺眉、支頤凝想等，姿態不一，動靜皆有，富於變化。
