泰國佛統府出土
泰國佛統府（Nakhon Pathom）出土。他叻瓦滴時期（Dvaravati，約6～13世紀）遺存的法輪石雕多出於佛統和烏通（U Thong）地區。這些作品一般作雙面雕刻，並有回首顧盼之臥鹿，推測可能為石柱柱頭上的裝飾。由於東南亞其他國家並無發現同類作品，故泰國的法輪雕刻更顯珍貴。
法輪高105公分，雕飾精美，軸承呈同心圓，條輻仿傳統印度石窟之柱頭造型，輪輞飾滿寶蓮花、卷草紋。法輪前置蹲伏之小鹿，高25公分，回首仰視法輪，神態活潑可愛，使作品平添生氣。
法輪及鹿象徵佛陀在鹿野苑初轉法輪，為弟子宣講四聖諦、八正道等，是佛教藝術最常見的題材之一。
