Aurangabad Cave 7: Musicians and Dancers

奧蘭加巴德石窟第7窟樂舞像

印度馬哈拉施特拉邦奧蘭加巴德

位於奧蘭加巴德石窟(Aurangabad Caves)第7窟佛龕右壁,面對主尊佛像。共雕七身伎樂天,著薄紗舞衣,披瓔珞,或結高髻,或戴寶冠。正中站立者翩然起舞,左右兩旁各三身,演奏笛子、鼓等樂器,似以樂舞供養主尊佛像。群像以中央舞者的寶冠為最高點,兩旁奏樂者依次蹲踞、胡跪到盤坐,七伎樂天的高度形成一道優美的弧線,構圖精巧。中央伎樂天舞姿豪邁,屈起的右腳狀若隨音樂節奏在打拍子,與稍後之印度教石窟濕婆神舞蹈的造像有共通之處。
 此樂舞場面亦與阿旃陀石窟第26窟降魔成道圖中,魔王指示魔女干擾悉達多太子修行的媚態相似,而性質則從誘惑改為供養。此作品以伎樂天為題材,與其相對之左壁則雕有觀音及度母像,據而推測應與當時密教初興有關。當地在藝術及信仰上的發展脈絡,於此群像可見一斑。
