該像製於十三世紀，為日本當時的典型傑作。外表漆繪，貼飾金箔。佛跣足端立於雙瓣覆蓮、單瓣仰蓮台上，台下為圓形框座。手結來迎印，斂目俯視。頭作肉髻，螺髮細密，正中嵌上髻珠，眉間有白毫，大耳垂肩，耳垂鏤空，面相圓潤，表情慈悲祥和。頸部三道紋，身著袈裟，淺刻衣紋，襞褶疏密有致，流暢自然。
