巴基斯坦西北邊境省羅里延唐蓋佛寺遺址出土
一八九五年巴基斯坦開伯爾巴圖克瓦省羅里延唐蓋（Loriyan Tangai, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa）佛寺遺址出土。圖中牀台上佛陀帶頭光，面貌安詳，右脇而臥，採獅子臥姿入般涅槃。執金剛神跌坐在佛牀前，拿金剛杵的左手支於地面，右手撫頭，仰天哭泣。牀前另著僧衣趺坐禪定的比丘，是佛陀最後收的弟子須跋陀羅，旁邊以三杖角架掛著漉水囊。牀尾三人表現大迦葉從裸形外道口中得知佛陀入滅的消息，於是從摩揭陀趕回拘尸那揭羅。五位末羅族人站在佛陀身後，表情悲傷，哀慟嚎啕。畫面右上方團形的枝葉叢中，娑羅樹神掩面拭淚。
此浮雕帶有濃厚的希臘、羅馬風格，衣褶厚重，人物寫實，表現出貴霜王朝（約1〜3世紀）犍陀羅地區的人物衣著樣貌。
