Borimsa Temple Hall of Great Silence and Light: Vairocana Buddha (detail)
寶林寺毗盧遮那佛坐像
韓國
位於韓國全羅南道長興郡有治面寶林寺大寂光殿。該坐像左臂後面陽鑄「大中十二年（858）」銘文，可知該像於新羅憲安王二年，為武州長沙副官金遂宗布施供養，是九世紀後期具有新式樣的鐵佛傑作。一九六三年指定為韓國國寶第117號。
此像螺髮，肉髻高，中央有泥製的月牙形髻珠，推側後來加上去。身著通肩袈裟，手結智拳印，結跏趺坐，身後無背光。額頭至鼻梁明顯生硬，肩身狹小，與身軀相比，手臂較小，但雙足左右伸展，下身較大，增加了穩定感。雙臂、胸部、兩膝處留有鑄造時形成的痕跡，說明於鑄造時分成幾個部分製作而再連接。
