Kozanji Temple Buddha Hall: Thousand-Armed Avalokitesvara
功山寺佛殿
日本山口下關
位於日本山口縣下關市。建造年代，據殿內來迎柱墨書，「此堂元應二年卯月五日柱立」，始建於鎌倉元應二年（1320）。功山寺由京都東福寺開山祖師圓爾弁圓聖一國師之法孫虛庵玄寂所創，名金山長福禪寺，屬曹洞宗寺。其後，寺運曾一度衰頹，江戶時代（1615～1868）由藩主（諸侯）毛利秀元復興，承應元年（1652）依毛利秀元法號改稱功山寺。一九五三年指定為日本國寶。
佛殿為重檐歇山頂，頂鋪檜皮，面闊、進深皆三間，檐下有三跳斗栱及檐椽，檐角起翹幅度大。殿內須彌壇上供奉主尊千手觀音菩薩坐像；地面鋪設磚，上方中央安置嵌板頂棚，頂棚周圍露出翼角椽，打造成開放性的空間，顯示其精湛的建築技法。大正時代（1912～1926）於頂棚嵌上圖畫。該佛殿與鎌倉圓覺寺舍利殿同具有禪宗佛殿的獨特外觀。
