古犍陀羅地區所存的藝術造像多以石、泥、灰泥等材質為主，銅製的佛像相當少見，而殘留下的多是立姿的佛造像，該像即其中一例。
佛著通肩袈裟，質地厚重，衣紋流暢。右手抬起施無畏印，左手握衣角。右腳略伸向前，重心落在左腳，站立於方形台上。頭光與身光皆分為三層，內圈素面無雕飾，中層刻蔓草花紋，外圍圓錐狀火焰以聯珠綴連，規律性地排列裝飾，每層之間飾聯珠紋。造像整體呈現出純熟的犍陀羅風格，精緻小巧，保存完好，為佛教青銅造像藝術中的精品。
