此犍陀羅菩薩像，胸部以下殘失，頭、胸保存尚好。菩薩帶圓形素面頭光，雙目微啟，蓄髭鬚，眉間有白毫，神情安詳靜定。敷巾冠飾略有殘損，仍可見華麗裝飾，有瓔珞、雙獅及摩竭魚等吉祥物。大耳綴獅頭珠穗耳璫。身上佩戴項圈、瓔珞和多重鍊飾，戴三葉形臂釧，帔巾繞於左肩。
從菩薩身上的裝飾特色判斷，為典型印度王子或貴族華麗的造型裝扮，應為成道前的釋迦菩薩造像。
