韓國自《妙法蓮華經》傳入後，觀音成為最早深入民間的菩薩信仰。早期百濟（18 BCE～663）觀音菩薩圖像特徵並不顯著，三國（57 BCE～668）末期隨著阿彌陀三尊像的盛行，才逐漸出現戴有化佛寶冠的觀音菩薩及單尊菩薩像。一九八九年指定為韓國國寶第247號。
此像立於覆蓮台上，頭戴寶冠，兩側髮絲垂肩，帔帛輕巧單薄於腹部呈交叉狀，瓔珞自肩垂及膝，於胸及腹部以蓮花圓盤相扣。左手持淨瓶，右手上舉持物，飾臂釧、腕釧。百濟時期觀音菩薩像富有變化，據此可了解當時匠師大膽創新的精神與風尚。
