Phyang Monastery Central Hall: Four-Armed Avalokitesvara
平陽寺四臂觀音菩薩像

位於印度拉達克平陽（Phyang, Ladakh）平陽寺（Phyang Gompa）大經堂北壁，據題記得知出自當地畫師三帕（Sanpa）之手。
觀音帶頭光及身光，頂戴錐形寶冠，冠帶飛揚。目細長，嘴秀氣，臉圓潤，面容祥和。袒上身，披瓔珞，嫣紅的碎花帔帛覆肩繞臂，下裳襞褶繁複輕柔。左胸現羚羊頭，為觀音苦行的象徵。二主臂當胸，似持一與願珠；另一右手執念珠、左手拈花，及於肩側。掌心及腳心施紅彩，顏色鮮明，此畫法常見於印度寺院壁畫中之尊像。
觀音四周圍繞或坐或立的綠度母、菩薩及成就師等像，整體構圖豐富密集，人物形態多姿，用筆謹細流利，彩度飽滿，呈現十六世紀印度北方寺院壁畫風格。
