思惟菩薩半跏像

菩薩戴敷巾冠飾，袒上身，佩以項圈、胸飾及臂釧、腕釧等，坐於鋪覆巾布的籐椅上，左足垂下踏於足台，右腿屈起，右足提至左踝之上。頭部和上身稍向右側傾，目光向下凝視，右肘支於右膝上，右手點向面頰，左手握蓮花，推測應是一尊作半跏思惟相的觀音菩薩像。
在犍陀羅佛傳浮雕中，思惟的姿態常見於樹下觀耕、決意出家場面的悉達多太子，或者降魔成道裡沉思的魔王。隨著大乘佛教菩薩信仰的普遍，表現觀音菩薩的單體思惟菩薩像廣為流行。
