此浮雕出土地不詳，由其造型及材質推測，原應屬犍陀羅北方斯瓦特（Swat）地區造像。此圖係表現釋迦成道後，梵天及帝釋天等天眾們勸請佛陀住世說法的情節。
佛陀無頭光，雙眼圓睜，頭髮如苦行者般整齊地向上盤結，袒上身，布帛披搭在左肩上，結跏趺坐於鋪覆吉祥草的台座上，手結禪定印，上方菩提樹枝葉茂盛，樹上掛有象徵釋迦為太子時的裝飾品。佛陀的左邊，戴敷巾冠飾及瓔珞者為帝釋天；右邊綰髮，滿面虯髯大鬚者為梵天，二者均雙手恭敬合掌，面朝佛陀侍立一旁。
此造型明顯與一般犍陀羅多以深目高鼻的希臘羅馬人容貌、波狀的頭髮及厚重的僧伽大衣不同，裝束亦介乎菩薩與成道後的佛陀之間，仍帶有濃厚印度西北部族人物的面貌特徵，屬犍陀羅早期之造像。
