阿旃陀石窟第17窟佛傳圖之降伏醉象
印度馬哈拉施特拉邦奧蘭加巴德
位於阿旃陀石窟（Ajanta Caves）第17窟門廊後壁右側。壁畫內容描繪佛陀於王舍城降伏醉象的場面。相傳提婆達多與阿闍世王（491～459 BCE在位）謀議，欲藉醉象加害佛陀；不料醉象來到佛陀跟前轉瞬間變溫馴。
全圖左側畫面為醉象奔馳在王舍城的街道上，踩踏路人，並以長鼻將人甩出，路人即刻驚慌奔逃。右側為醉象衝至佛陀眼前，瞬間變得平靜溫馴，並跪下禮拜佛陀。佛陀伸出右手撫摸象頭，路人見狀紛紛合掌讚歎。
此壁畫有多處剝落，色彩亦褪淡，並呈現氧化現象，然而人物、醉象的神態，仍清晰可見。
