優填王造佛像圖
巴基斯坦西北邊境省白夏瓦薩利巴路爾佛寺遺址出土
巴基斯坦開伯爾巴圖克瓦省白夏瓦（Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa）薩利巴路爾（Sahri Bahlol）佛寺遺址出土。據《增一阿含經》卷二十八記載，佛陀上忉利天為母說法時，弟子們因不見佛容而悲嘆，憍賞彌國的優填王更因此而憂苦愁病，遂令巧匠以珍貴的牛頭旃檀香木造佛像。此為造作佛像之濫觴。
此浮雕以屋檐和兩側希臘科林斯式（Corinthian）立柱為框架。圖中央佛陀雙手結轉法輪印，其右側的優填王向佛陀展示雕造的佛坐像，左側是跟隨佛陀的二弟子，流露出欣喜之神情。優填王背後的天人正伸手入衣●（z）中取花。兩旁上方亦有天人散花讚歎。構圖均衡對稱，層次分明。
