新疆維吾爾自治區巴音郭楞蒙古自治州焉耆回族自治縣七個星佛教遺址出土，由斯坦因攜至英國。
此菩薩頭像置於飾聯珠紋方磚的正中央，整體以高浮塑表現。頭戴高寶冠，冠上飾華美的花朵圖案，面相飽滿，五官向內集中，嘴唇小巧，神情沉靜和悅，耳佩花狀大耳璫，其色彩及頭髮樣式與西北印度的犍陀羅造像應有其相關性。因聯珠紋圖形在隋代（581～618）之前的敦煌地區頗為流行，推測此作品年代應該接近初唐時期（618～712）。
