雪峰東山與虛頭陀偈 絕海中津

此幅內容為雪峰東山禪師書予香山虛頭陀之偈語，言修行當找回自己的本來面目，不應隨波逐流，忘卻自我。今此偈不載於《雪峰慧空禪師語錄》，而見於方涯元圭所集的《東山外集》，也許絕海中津抄錄此偈成幅，即據外集而來。
其書學清遠懷渭禪師，又多趙孟頫書風樣態，精善處似過其師。此幅書風面貌，一如展大的趙氏尺牘，而趙氏書寫之結字章法俱在，整體雍和莊重，可見其善學也。
絕海中津為日本南北朝（1336～1392）至室町（1392～1573）時代初期臨濟宗僧，師事夢窗疎石，於日本南北朝應安元年（1368）至中國學習，歸國後歷任等持寺、相國寺住持，與義堂周信並稱為五山文學之雙璧。
