Toji Temple Founder: Acala - Canopy
教王護國寺不動明王像

位於御影堂。雕造於九世紀，與該寺講堂的五大明王像並稱為明王像之代表作。一九五五年指定為日本國寶。
該像高123公分，以檜木整材雕造，刳空再接合肩、手臂、手腕及雙足等，最後再以乾漆塑形。因是平時不對外公開的秘佛，保存完好，仍維持當初的豔麗色彩。
明王頂戴蓮花為後來補上，辮髮垂落左耳前，怒目圓睜，上齒咬住下唇，頭微側，身披帔帛，下著裙，左手持●（Q）索，右手握劍，右足朝上，結跏趺坐於六重瑟瑟座上。身軀比例勻整，姿態穩健，身後帶頭光、身光二重圓相，但周緣紋飾已失。寶蓋垂掛於頭上方，內描繪有飛天等圖案。
頭光、身光、帔帛、裙裳等處以暈染漸層彩色描繪菱形花紋、卷草紋、寶相花紋和雲紋等圖案，沿襞褶凸處亦有描金線，筆觸細膩，繪製工整，更顯柔和妍麗。
