韓國慶尚北道慶州市內東九黃洞皇龍寺遺址出土
韓國慶尚北道慶州市九黃洞皇龍寺遺址出土。該菩薩頭像與韓國國寶第83號思惟菩薩半跏像的頭部相似，其微笑被認為是三國時期（57 BCE～668）最佳的笑容。為皇龍寺遺址發現歷史最悠久的佛像之一，對研究皇龍寺丈六像及皇龍寺初期佛教美術等，是珍貴的研究資料，備受矚目。
菩薩頭戴三山寶冠，冠前部已損毀。臉部圓潤，眼睛細長，鼻子短又圓，略帶笑意。右側臉頰上留有指端痕跡，原應是金銅思惟菩薩半跏像支頤的右手指端。雙耳緊貼，耳垂稍有碎裂。屬六世紀後半期的傑出作品。
