此尊像法相莊嚴，體態優雅，為喜馬拉雅地區令人印象最深刻的古銅像之一。菩薩綰高髻，髻大而圓，在該地區較為罕見；前方的蓮瓣形頭冠，刻有清晰卷曲的植物圖案。長髮呈波浪形明顯地由中間分開，兩綹頭髮垂於肩上。袒上身，佩戴項圈和手鐲。肩膀和四肢均厚實健壯，益顯繫帶的腰部纖細，兩腿間的襞褶線條略顯生硬。臀部圍帛帶，於左側打結。左手屈舉持蓮蕾；右手垂下，原應持有果實，現已佚失。
此像渾圓的臉部和俊秀的五官，帶有中國唐代（618～907）或遼代（907～1125）的風格，因而被推測或為旅居尼泊爾的中國匠師所作。雙腿之間的襞褶以及台座的蓮花瓣，則是典型的李查維王朝（Licchavi，約300～879）晚期古銅造像特點。
