法句經 釋淨明

中國

清光緒二十五年(1899)甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。該卷前半部為《道行品法句經第二十八》,後半部為《泥洹品法句經第二十九》,卷末兩則題記「升平十二年(368)沙彌淨明」、「咸安三年(373)十月二十日沙彌淨明誦習法句起」。前者為前涼年號,後者是東晉年號,兩題記皆同一人所書,為敦煌文獻中早期寫本之一。《法句經》意謂真理的語言,乃收集諸經中佛自說之偈編集而成。
 本卷書寫快速,有漢簡書法沉雄樸茂的氣質和揮灑自如的簡率風格,乃隸書向楷書過渡的中間形態。起筆處尖鋒直入,沒有回鋒;收筆處又重按,保存隸書捺畫的餘韻,但不作挑勢;轉折處多不提筆轉鋒,以求勁疾。通篇氣勢連貫,筆力勁健挺拔。
 參考釋文:道行品法句經第三十八 二十有八章 道行品者旨說大要度脫之道此/為極妙/八直最上道四諦為法跡不婬行之尊施燈必得眼/是道無有異見淨乃度世此能壞魔兵力行滅眾苦/我已開正道為示現大明已聞當自行行乃解邪縛/生死非常苦能觀見為慧若欲離眾苦行道一切除/生死非身空能觀見為慧欲離一切苦但當勤行道/起時當即起莫如愚覆淵與墮無瞻聚計疲不進道/念應念則正念不應則邪慧而不起邪思正道乃成/慎言守意念身不善不行如是三行除佛說是得道/斷樹無伐木根在猶果生除根乃無樹比丘得泥洹/不能斷樹親戚相戀貪意自縛如犢慕乳/能斷意本生死無彊是為近道疾得泥洹/貪婬致老瞋恚致病愚癡致死除三得道/釋前解後脫中度彼一切念滅無復老死/人營妻子不觀病法死命卒至如水湍聚/父子不救餘親何望命盡怙親如盲守燈/慧解是意可修經戒勤行度世一切除苦/遠離諸淵如風卻雲已滅思想是為知見/智為世長惔樂無為知受正教生死得盡/知眾行空是為慧見疲厭世苦從是道除/知眾行苦是為慧見疲厭世苦從是道除/眾行非身是為慧見疲厭世苦從是道除/吾語汝法愛箭為射宜以自勗受如來言/吾為都以滅往來生死盡非一情已解所演為道眼/使流注于海潘水漾疾滿故為智者說可趨服甘露/前未聞法輪轉為哀眾生於是事奉者禮之度三有/三念可念善三亦難不善從念而有行滅之為正斷/三定為轉念棄猗行無量得三三窟除解結可應念
