Chan Yun
釋懺雲
安東人 台灣 繪畫 書法
俗姓曹。生於一九一四年，卒於二○○九年。僧人。安東人。早年東渡日本，專攻美術。後因父親逝世，深感無常，遂於二十九歲出家，於北京圓通寺受具足戒，曾親炙律宗大德慈舟法師。一九四九年渡海來臺灣。一九六三年於南投創建蓮因寺，為一重視戒律之淨土道場。
因景仰弘一、慈舟諸大德之風範，師戒行清淨，律己甚嚴，且身體力行，全寺過午不食。自一九六六年起，每年在蓮因寺開辦大專學生齋戒學會，引導大專青年體驗清淨之佛門生活，頗為臺灣佛教界所推崇。
其書畫造詣俱佳，一九五七年於蓮因寺繪製西方三聖像，典雅細緻，廣為時人翻印流傳。
