釋明儉
丹徒(今江蘇鎮江) 僧人、 書畫家
俗姓王。字智勤，號几谷。生卒年不詳。清代（1644～1911）僧、書畫家。江蘇丹徒（今鎮江）人。少時出家小九華山，頗通經教，兼解禪法。能詩、繪、篆刻，擅摹晉人法帖，繪畫尤工山水、花卉，運筆流暢，墨采沉穩厚實。嘗遊浙江雁蕩山，繪雁山雙錫圖，雪瀑雲氣現於紙上，技藝高超。傳世作品有畫作山水圖，藏臺灣高雄佛光山寺。
