Shanhua Temple Great Hero Hall: Six-Armed Marici

位於大雄寶殿東壁前，為殿內二十四諸天之一。據《佛說摩利支天菩薩陀羅尼經》載：「日前有天，名摩利支。有大神通自在之法，常行日前，日不見彼，彼能見日，無人能見，無人能知，無人能捉，無人能害，無人欺誑，無人能縛，無人能債其財物，無人能罰，不畏怨家能得其便。」
此像現寂靜相，作菩薩裝束，頭戴冠，額頭現白毫相，面相豐腴。袒上身，披帔帛，佩瓔珞、臂釧和腕釧，下著長裙，跣足立於地上。據《佛說大摩里支菩薩經》，摩利支天八臂，此像六臂，二主臂於腹前合十，中左臂持金剛杵，中右臂持短兵，上二臂高舉，原應持日月。該像身體挺直，不同於唐代（618～907）塑像強調動態美，但體態仍保留唐代的豐腴。寶冠及瓔珞刻鏤精細，衣紋線條流暢，比例恰當。與之相對的是西壁辯才天，姿態、形象和裝束類同，僅手持物有異。
