Longxing Temple Great Compassion Pavilion: Warrior
隆興寺力士像

位於河北省石家莊市正定縣隆興寺大悲閣，共計三尊，分左、中、右扛負閣內主尊千手千眼觀音菩薩的蓮台。力士是佛教的護法神，多置於石窟洞口、寺院山門或佛塔入口兩側，其形象多強健有力。力士作為扛負台座的造型，乃中國匠師的創意。
三尊力士均眉弓隆起，雙目圓睜，或齜牙咧嘴，或努嘴咬牙，鼻翼橫張，面部表情極為傳神。居中力士取正面跪姿，雙臂奮撐，肩、背與蓮座相接，全身各部位肌肉凸起，頭向前傾，增強挺腹撐背的動勢。左側之力士，側身呈跪姿，肩、臂及腹部肌肉鼓暴，拱肩縮背，氣力上貫，將負重的姿態刻劃得淋漓盡致。右側之力士與左側之力士遙遙相對，形成左右對稱格局，其左膝著地，右膝支起，雙臂力撐，肩背隆起，似要奮力站起。三尊力士均袒上身，僅飾臂釧與腕釧，著短裙，格外張顯肌肉的勁健有力。
