江蘇省蘇州市虎丘雲岩寺塔發現
一九五六年江蘇省蘇州市虎丘雲岩寺塔第三層發現。此三聯式佛龕亦稱檀龕寶相，盛行於唐代（618～907）。佛龕分主龕與左右副龕，上下有小孔，可穿繩繫結開闔，便於攜帶。
佛龕由整塊檀香木雕成。主龕為半圓形，龕頂雕飾半月形帷帳，造像以鏤空及圓雕手法刻成。主龕內為一尊觀音立像，戴寶冠，後繪頭光、身光，手拈佛珠，足踏藕生蓮花；蓮台下左右蓮莖兩端各出一蓮蓬，左側蓬上為善財童子，雙手捧蓮花供養觀音。左右三角形副龕雕像對稱，內各刻一身脇侍菩薩，菩薩坐於高束腰蓮座上；其上鏤雕飛天，帔帛飛揚。
此龕內容應為《大方廣佛華嚴經》卷四十五〈入法界品〉之善財童子參拜觀音變相。
