刺繡觀音菩薩像 管道昇

觀音長髮披肩，隨風飄揚。手持佛珠，衣袂翻飛，跣足而立。法相莊嚴，雍容華貴，自然流露慈悲祥和之態。此作特殊之處在於觀音長髮，乃以作者管道昇之髮絲繡成，意表虔誠。
管道昇，又稱管仲姬，元代（1271～1368）女書畫家，世稱管夫人，大書畫家趙孟頫妻。善畫墨竹，亦工觀音、佛像，筆意清新。並精於刺繡，惜傳世之作不多。
繡品於綾地上採套針、滾針等技法繡像，其轉接自如的針腳，加上嫻熟利落的運針，使得畫面線條簡潔明快，堪稱髮繡、絲繡結合的佳作。
