Tapestry of Buddha as an Arhat

佛作羅漢相,蓄髭鬚,微露笑容,躬身作接引狀。以三藍緙絲法,在淺色的背景上,運用赭紅色突顯袈裟、雲朵等主題,搭配藍色雲氣、交領僧衣及深藍的髭鬚和袖緣;華蓋如意則採用月白加金手法,緙面色彩鮮明而典雅。
 四周有歷代名仕以不同書體寫經,包括《大佛頂首楞嚴經》、《般若波羅蜜多心經》、《金剛般若波羅蜜經》、《妙法蓮華經》及謝靈運的《無量壽佛讚》。
 宋代(960~1279)是中國緙絲技藝鼎盛的時代,此作品反映出南宋(1127~1279)的緙絲水平,可謂巧奪天工。
