Kenchoji Temple: Temple Discipline

蘭溪道隆書此卷與《法語》格式相同，筆墨相近，兩卷書寫時間應相去不遠。內容為逐條提示寺內僧眾應遵循之規則，及犯戒後應受何罰之事。文末復言此規則並非具文，僧眾應確實遵奉，可見其誡勸之深。一九五二年指定為日本國寶。
此卷書風一如其筆下之《法語》，用筆使轉皆有張即之書寫樣貌，唯上下字距較近，略有拘迫之感。
蘭溪道隆為南宋（1127～1279）臨濟宗僧。書法師承黃庭堅，兼具張即之風範，筆力遒勁，氣格樸質。
參考釋文：長老首座區區力行不知為誰家事挂佛袈裟受信施食苟無見／處它時戴角披毛千生萬劫償他去在今後沐浴之日昏鐘鳴至二更三點／轉四更至曉鐘時並要坐禪不歸堂赴眾者罰出院 四更五點後聖僧侍者／收洗面桶五更一點後若有洗面者罰油一斤 昏鐘鳴後至定鐘時不許向火／二更一點後聖僧侍者埋爐中火若有開向之者罰二斤油 四更一點至五更二點並／不許向火犯者罰二斤油 火爐頭僧堂內並不許說話犯者罰一斤油 行步有聲／揭簾鹿糙者罰一斤油 堂中所行之事略呈一二各宜自守勿犯此規謹屯奉聞的□／文具 住山蘭溪 道隆 白
