位於布達拉宮（lha sa po ta la）紅宮西大殿。十七世紀末作品。四面牆壁計有六幀大型尊像畫，其餘空間皆繪五世達賴傳記圖，面積達200多平方公尺。畫面用生動的連環畫形式，詳盡地描繪五世達賴喇嘛生平事蹟、相關各種人物形象及藏式建築。伴隨著人物的活動，展現廣闊的社會生活場面，是了解當時藏族人民生活方式及建築樣式的圖像文獻。
東壁下方描繪五世達賴於一六五二年赴京覲見順治皇帝（1643～1661在位）的情形，包括起程、征途、抵京、覲見、赴宴、遊樂、觀劇等場面。其中一個畫面呈現順治皇帝與五世達賴並坐交談，下方兩側為數列陪宴的大臣和喇嘛，重現歷史場景，頗受矚目。
