妙崇寺十一面千手觀音菩薩像

位於臺灣高雄市六龜區妙崇寺圓通寶殿。觀音菩薩現多首多臂，據唐（618～907）伽梵達摩譯《千手千眼觀世音菩薩廣大圓滿無礙大悲心陀羅尼經》，菩薩於往昔聞廣大圓滿無礙大悲心陀羅尼，為利益一切眾生，乃發具足千手千眼之願，而即刻得其身，手中持物，各有度眾含義。
該像十一面四十臂，頂上一面現佛面。頭戴化佛寶冠，面相豐潤，眉細目秀，眉心白毫，端嚴妙好。圓形頭光，裝飾華麗。二主臂於胸前合十，腹前二手施禪定印，另十八雙大手於身側呈扇形分布，各持金剛杵、寶印、鈴等法器，其中二臂手持錫杖和長鉞，頗具氣勢。其餘小手呈輻射狀重重排列，布列在觀音像身後，構成蓮瓣形背光，外緣飾火焰紋。胸飾瓔珞，斜披絡腋，帔帛飄垂，下身著裙，立於仰覆蓮台上。雕刻細緻，衣飾敷彩描金，整體造型精美富麗。
