此像作菩薩裝束，髮髻高聳，上飾一塔，戴高花寶冠，冠面以蓮蓬為主飾，鑲嵌綠松石。面部方圓，頭微左傾，身軀略屈呈「S」形，體態輕盈優美。雙眉修長高挑出額，眉間有白毫，目光下視，口鼻端正。長髮披肩，額前紺青髮際以細圈緊密螺結，全身嚴飾瓔珞。帔帛自肩垂至膝部。雙手於胸前結說法印，手拈長莖蓮花，蓮莖繞臂於肩側後伸展開花。此像髮髻上之寶塔和左肩花上之水瓶，係為彌勒之標識。
整件作品以紅銅鎏金為底，綠松石瓔珞間飾紅珊瑚，色調華麗，係屬西藏十五世紀之精湛佳作。
