釋曇遷
僧人 書法
俗姓支。生於三八四年，卒於四八二年。南朝宋（420～479）齊（479～502）僧。祖先為月支人。寓居建康（今江蘇南京），初住祇洹寺，後移住烏衣寺。精通釋、儒、道三教典籍。人品高潔。曾與范曄交往，後范曄被誅，毅然挺身為之營葬。宋孝武帝（453～464在位）聞而歎賞，囑臣下撰《宋書》時勿遺漏曇遷法師之行蹟。
工於書法，常寫經樂施。擅梵唄唱誦，多所創新，故稱「巧於轉讀，有無窮聲韻，梵制新奇」。著有《十地經論》之注疏。於齊建元四年（482）示寂，世壽九十九。
