此圖以佛坐像為中心，兩側為聽法會眾。佛結跏趺坐於束腰圓形覆蓮座上，頭上高肉髻，身著袒右袈裟，右手缺損似施無畏印，左手置於腹前握衣角，頭上有花繩裝飾如華蓋。
聽法會眾分上下二層，除上層花環兩旁的二位供養人持物站立外，諸菩薩均坐於覆蓮座上，有趺坐，有倚坐，有交腳坐，或者跪坐；或合掌作禮，或低首思惟，或結襌定印，或仰視佛陀，或側身與鄰者交談，神情專注，姿態各異，顯示出犍陀羅造像中人物活潑的動態。
