位於印尼中爪哇省馬格朗市(Magelang, Central Java)婆羅浮屠(Borobudur)佛塔。該佛塔塔基原被外圍貼砌的一圈巨大石塊所遮掩,一八八五年考古隊發現此祕密後,稱之為「隱埋的基壇」。塔基基部嵌有一百六十幅浮雕嵌板,僅四分之三完成,當取材自《分別善惡報應經》,闡述因果報應之定律。各場景以樹木圖案隔開,圖右側描繪造業之因,左為果報場景。 此圖位於塔基東南隅,採高浮雕手法呈現家族團圓、飲食、奏樂、舞蹈等歡愉場面,推測係表現善行感召幸福和富裕的生活。其構圖勻稱整齊,刻劃自然;人物臉龐圓潤,體軀壯健,姿態各異,極富動感,反映當時日常生活的真實情景。
