此佛立像雕造精巧，高大修長的身材，搭配精緻的飾物，為吳哥時期（約9～15世紀）東南亞古典藝術達到鼎盛期的作品，可能出自柬埔寨或泰國。
東南亞大部分的佛像一般都穿著簡單的袈裟，此像則穿著皇家服飾，頭冠、裝飾珠寶的項鍊、臂釧皆精心雕鑿；細緻典雅的服飾邊緣經過刻意處理，顯得莊嚴大方。臉部略顯瘦削，五官刻劃立體，雙眸奇大，炯炯有神，眉際相接呈「一」字形，眉間白毫鑲嵌寶石，鼻翼較寬，豐唇，戴圓錐式大耳環，英氣勃發，呈現出高貴優雅的姿態。雙手施無畏印，掌心刻法輪，此手印為高棉（今柬埔寨）風格的立式佛像最常見的一種展現方式。
