該坐像雖兩手、背光和膝蓋已損毀，但造像樣式及雕刻手法均具特色。台座圓形，頭光無任何紋樣，整體雖古式，但身體豐腴，推測造像年代約為七世紀上半葉。
佛素髮無紋飾，頭上有大肉髻，臉似童顏，兩耳垂肩，斂目，鼻子高挺稍微受損，露出微笑，頸短肩寬。雙手已損毀，但從其留存的部分推測，左手結與願印，右手施無畏印。身著通肩袈裟，表現厚重，前襟有數層粗大「U」形褶紋，雙膝狹窄，膝間衣紋下垂呈半圓狀，裙襬覆至台座呈懸裳形式，前端襞褶呈「Ω」形。
