Guangyuan Thousand Buddha Cliff Rock Carvings Cave 744
廣元千佛崖石窟第744窟牟尼閣
四川廣元
位於石窟群南段南端中下部。開鑿於盛唐（712～756），為敞口平頂窟，寬4.94公尺，高1.95公尺，進深3.26公尺。窟內中央設背屏式佛壇，上有一佛二弟子二菩薩二力士造像一鋪，中間佛像保存完整，餘像頭部皆已殘失。背屏鏤雕菩提雙樹和天龍八部眾，直通窟頂，別致精細，極富巧思。
主尊釋迦牟尼佛高1.7公尺，面容豐圓，結跏趺坐於仰蓮座上。佛頭光上有華蓋，華蓋頂飾寶珠一顆。仰蓮座下六角形須彌座，轉角處刻有象首，座前雕刻香爐。全窟雕鏤結合，匠心獨具，展現盛唐（712～756）造像精緻華麗的風格特色。
