越南平定省蘆葦平原出土
越南平定省蘆葦平原出土，為扶南（今越南巴南）的佛像。以碳十四檢測，年代可上溯至六世紀，或更早。應是越南最早的木佛。木製佛像保存不易，易於腐爛，此像因被富含明礬及海鹽的沼澤泥土包覆而保存至今。
此像螺髮高髻，寬肩細腰，二手屈舉，右掌心向前，左前臂垂搭袈裟衣緣，立於蓮台上。此種身著貼體、無衣紋袈裟的佛像，明顯受到印度的影響。
