Letter from Master Xiaoyin Daxin in Response to Yu Ji’s Poems

和虞集詩帖 笑隱大訢

大訢和尚五十九歲時所書。凡十三行，一百二十三字。卷中大訢自述，天然和尚攜虞集所作三偈，來請大訢次韻，故成此卷。內容所及，亦隱含感念對方盛情之意，可見其深厚交誼。
此卷用筆淳厚，結體寬和，行距疏朗，不受當時趙孟頫書風籠罩，已屬難得；風格更遠追宋代（960～1279）蘇軾，字間多見逸氣，卓然立於元代（1271～1368）流行書風之中。
大訢字笑隱。元代僧、書畫家。江州（今江西九江）人。家世儒業，後雖入佛門，但仍以學問、修行受到趙孟頫、袁桷、歐陽圭等人欽服。得法於晦機元熙，享年六十一歲。
